HELP: jdm one peice headlights amber turn, which bulb?

i got my car with jdm headlights already, one of the turning signal amber bulb blew out. anybody have a part number/bulb type for these things? what amber bulb would work? i was planning on stopping by walmart of the parts store when i get off work. just wanted to know which one i need. i looked on the thread of notes and couldnt find anything specific. thank you!

are you using the oem harness and bulb or did the jdm harness for the turn signal get spliced in? I was under the impression that most people re-used the stock harness and bulb for the turn signals.

OEM front turn signal is a 1157A

Also, most bulbs have the type stamped on them somewhere, they just can be hard to read.

well then pull out your bulb and see what it says.

i just wanted to make sure what bulb it is because i dont have time to take the headlights off, take the bulb off, put the headlight back and do it again during my lunch break. haha any solid info would be great. so the usdm oem one is 1157A. whats the jdm amber bulb equivalent i can get from the parts store?

I believe the jdm ones were not amber. I remember mine being clear.

IIRC USDM vs JDM both use 1157 bulbs.

is it a single filament? or double? blinkers/parklight? both? one or the other?

Assuming the connectors were wired directly to your signal harness I would assume dual since USDM legacy controls use the turn signals for parking lights...

On a side note.. what a F*$$$** stupid feature.. Parking lights... Pfffff

u need the switch back leds turn signal. when on its white but when u signal its amber.

The JDM ones are single filiment and clear. An 1156 will fit fine. If its the US socket, its dual filiment and its an 1157. Either way, use a clear bulb.
