Thanks, had to use alot of skill.
Surprised how many members from TORONTO, but I hardly see any BE on the road.

I find most members are in Vaughan/Markham/Brampton/Scarborough.. very little T.Dot drivers.

Looks like a throwback to Airgne's beginning...minus the chromies.
Get a mild drop (40mm or so) on it and it'll set the wheels off really nice!
Reminds me to retint my car this spring...

Ha! I live in Markham and BE are rare here. See a lot of the Outbacks though. its a car, its mobile. I am all over the city most of the time.

I want to drop just a touch(max 1") in the front only. I have a hard time finding springs for the BE's. Looked at the pinks for BE and they are only in Japan and quite expensive. Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks

change out the fronts for Impreza Version.7/8 .. the shock, perch, spring...
Its a slight drop and stiffer front shocks.

I hear you Chuck.
Which years is Impreza Version.7/8(2001-2007)?? AND WRX or regular??
Investigated this option. Hard to find 2 front springs for sale. Most are selling as a set(all 4 sides). You know of anybody selling let me know, as I scan the classifieds.

when the word Version is used its automatically associated with JDM STi.
JDM Version 5/6 = 95-01 GC style
JDM Version 7 = Bug Eye STi (similar to the USDM 02-03 head lights)
JDM Version 8 = Blob Eye STi (similar to the USDM 04-05 headlights)
etc...
All the shocks/springs will fit.. you just need to rotate your top hat for the fronts.. search SLi its loaded with good info.. Also check out the Members Directory in Members Rides I. its a stickie at the top you can check out other members cars quickly for reference.
Cheers and see you on the roads / at the meets

Wait a minute... What you are calling "Version 8" (which isn't JDM since we never had anything past Ver. VI) is two completely different cars. The C/D STI has more in common with the A/B STI than the E. If you get suspension/wheels/interior parts for a car that somebody calls "version 8", then you have a 50% chance of getting it wrong. Please don't spread the "Version" moniker past VI, because it WILL lead somebody to blow money on the wrong parts (It happened to me when I first got my '05 STI and I didn't know much then).
PLEASE read the "Useful Subaru info" link in my sig line.

Listen Yamazaki.. we have had this conversation... but you have to understand at least for LIMITED who is from my area.. to find these parts that you speak of NO ONE in Toronto knows what the hell a GD/A/B/C/D. no one lists parts with those code names. Everyone calls 01+ as Version 7/8
Example: http://www.torontojdm.com/cart.php?targ ... ory_id=115 (http://www.torontojdm.com/cart.php?target=product&product_id=4333&category_id=115)
No one will find/buy a 02 GDA EJ20 w/ 6MT.... but people love the 03 v.8 EJ20 w/ 6MT ...

Bad news guys.
Car was hit. I ended up parting it out.
So sad to say that I no longer have a subaru. Probably the best car I owned so far.
I could not find a newer Legacy in time.
I jumped into a 04 Accord EX-L. BUT still miss my 3Gen.
In the future I promised myself will by a 4Gen Legacy.
