Bottom End noise on De-rev EJ22

So when I rev up the engine it sounds fine. When it gets around 1200rpm's and is going down (letting off the gas pedal) it makes a knocking noise in the bottom end. Any suggestions as to what this may be?

I will try to get video of this in the morning. Just starting to worry me.

No check engine lights?

Is your EJ22 high mileage? There not exactly the quietest motors when used and abused... you could be hearing piston slap... however rod knock is a bit more dangerous..

Yeah I got busy and so I will try to get a sound clip tonight or tomorrow.
No CEL's. Also knock sensor was replaced about a month ago.
170k on it.
