Well, seems as how my old BD ended up having some major frame damage, i sold it, and started looking for another project/dd. Well, after almost a year i have finally found another car. I have always liked the wagons, so when this one popped up for sale cheap due to needing some work, i jumped on it.

Well, here it is. A 1997 Outback. EJ25D with the 4eat. Needs head gaskets, and fender has a dent. But i think i can pull that out for the most part. Paid $600 for the car. And ended up driving it home after adding some coolant and taking multiple stops. I actually got it about half way home before i stopped and let it sit for an hour.

I'll get more pics later. I got it stuffed into my neighbors little garage. I wish it was heated. Oh well, at least its a garage.

Now that's dedication!!! I like seeing that. Hopefully everything will be perfect with this car once the headgasket is replaced.

Well, after paying bills and what not, I had just enough money to get my gasket set. So that will be here in the next couple days and than hopefully i will at least get it torn down before Christmas, but i am gonna take my time on this. I wanna do it right.

Got a good long block laying around? lol. I really dont want to replace the hg on this car. Its has 229,000 on it and i am thinking its time for a new motor. I want this thing to run for a long time with no worries. But I am also the kind of guy that wont leave anything alone, and have almost all of my turbo stuff from my legacy turbo build laying around. So i would probably turbo it later on.

Its not bad. Its got one little rust spot on the rear wheel well that i will take care of next summer, and the fender needs to be replaced. I already found a drivers door and fender, and my uncle is currently prepping them to paint. The bad part is, my uncle lives like five hours away. lol. So it will be after the holidays before i get them on.

Lol. I figured so. I plan on getting mine going soon. Depending on whether or not we ind a different place to live. We have had constant problems with the bathroom backing up for the past 2 years, and it happened again twice tonight. So i am looking for a new place.

On a good note though, I picked up my OEM Subaru head gaskets this morning. Also my GF bought me a set of JDM projectors for my Christmas present this year. I didn't think she was serious. lol.
