So i wanted a mesh grill and decided to make one. First thing i did was take the center section out of the grill. I had some mesh material left over from another project and cut it to fit inside the plastic frame for the grill. i then put some screws and washers in to hold it in place and painted and clear coated the whole thing. had it like that for about a week and then took the legacy emblem that i had from my 2.5GT that i parted out and epoxied it to the grill. held that in place for about 20 minutes until it dried and then reinstalled... tell me what you think

did you gut the center section or "take it out" ? i have heard that phrase before and am wondering if it's as easy as it sounds.

i popped it out. there are little metal clips that once removed let it fall right out of place. at least 10 or so if i remember correctly. if you look at yours you'll see what i mean. ill get some better pics tomorrow

cant pop yours out. i tried to do that on my stock GT grill as well. you'd have to cut the center out.

Sorry huffer. I wasn't thinking when I did it. And statgsr I like your style. Thought I was a little different with the legacy badge. Guess not. Can't believe how alike they are.
