Here goes...The windshield wiper mister motor for the front wipers doesn't work...checked fuses...all good...replaced pump motor on washer reservoir...still nothing...checked for power at the motor connection on the reservoir...it's hot...So it must be in the switch in the wiper paddle on the steering column...right? How do I check it? Do I tear apart the steering column or is there anyway I can check the miles and miles of wires behind the dash to find the problem...or, horrors of horrors, take it to a Subaru dealer?
By the way, I did switch the washer nozzle hoses from the back unit to the front so I can at least get fluid on the front windshield. Living in N.C. Mountains and since we have already have had a foot of snow this season (of course, nothing compared to those getting hammered on the West Coast, having the wipers work correctly is a big-time safety issue.
