Had some fun with photoshop, and here are some pics of my ideas, based on what I've seen and learned from sli.

Ideally the car would be a 2-tone flat black and matte winter green metallic color. I really like the flat black roof and spoiler and I think I might actually do that someday. I'm also seriously thinking about painting the chrome strips along with windows flat black. The flat black hood and grill on the other hand, I'm not too sure about. The yellow fogs and extra orange on the headlights would be vinyl from ebay. The wheel color looks a little too dark as a bronze. Maybe a gold would be better? I do like green cars with gold rims...
What do you think? Good? Maybe? Or just plain stupid?!
This painting project wouldn't start til maybe next summer, maybe the summer after that.

i hate flat black, unless the car is REALLY REALLY ugly, or the flat black is some pro stuff, like solid gloss black with a flattener in the clear, then it has a weird sort of glow to it, good stuff. not feeling the orange on the head lamps :smt009 , but i DID have an army green and flat black 240sx, so i DO dig the scheme, just make sure your flat black goes on even and sexy. otherwise it'll look lame, and you'll cry alot at night. trust me. :smt010
for the wheels, i'd leave em alone, or go high gloss black, for contrast.
dechroming the window strips = win :smt023

Ok, I see. Dechroming window strips is something I will almost definitely do! And ya, I was never really sure about the black/green paint scheme, same with the wheels, and the light tinting...
Anyone else?!

I totally dig the two tone, but I agree that flat black is crap. I think the dark green is going to be difficult to find a good match for... Maybe a dark blue?
The wheels don't look that bad, and I didn't even notice the orange on the headlights (it looks so natural). I had to look at your rides thread to see the chrome strips (we don't have them) and I agree - those have to go.

Ok so I'd getting rid of the chrome thingers for sure. Probably not going to paint anything anyways. These were just random ideas. I still might experiment with possible yellow fogs or something tho... Thanks for the input guys!

honestly, i like everything you did!
always been a fan of the amber corners since I'm a mad tyte yO honda boy, and it doesn't seem to be something that has caught on with many other car followings.
Also really like the "eye lids" on the inside of the headlights next to the grille, makes them a better shape, and goes well with the hood and grille. btw, i generally hate eye lids with a passion..
you should try and change that flat black to a gloss black and see how it looks....

also, if you want to see what your car looks like for real with the chrome strips gone, just grab some electrical tap and cover them up, good non permanent way to see if you like it.
I was going to get rid of mine, but after i painted my car, i don't think i would like them as much if they were black.

Thanks! I'll think about making the corners amber, I don't mind them when I look at these pictures lol.
Oh, and about the grill... The "eye lids" you speak of are not photoshopped! They're REAL! It was originally a chargespeed grill I got off ebay with huge eye lids, and in transit one of the eye lids broke off. So I decided to get out the dremel and cut the other side down, make it all smooth, and BAM! What you see is what you get! The color of the grill is photoshopped tho.

Great idea! Thanks!

You're not the only one... I haven't tried getting a scooped hood because the car is still N/A and doesn't need a scoop. Maybe someday if I can find a scooped hood locally I'll buy it.

my gt is N/A and it has a scoop, love it. i would assume a gt hood would fit up real nice.
