Woke up today and my heater stopped working. When I switch the vents I hear it switching but when I turn the knob for the blower I dont get any air coming out of my vents no matter if its on the lowest or through the highest setting. Im guessing its either the heater control unit or the motor fan blower or something? I was looking at autozone and searching through their products and saw they have heater switches for right and left and also a relay for the blower motor can this also be it too? Well if I start replacing things where should I start first? I was thinking of starting off with the heater control unit then the switches/relays and last the blower motor?

i would try the relay first, because that is probably the least expensive part. with electronic parts they generally will not let you return them.

All electronic parts can also be tested so you can replace the problematic part the first time around. Relays and switches are easy to test.

Check for power and ground at the connector for the heater blower. Easy to do with a $5 test light, and a lot less expensive than shotgun diagnostics.

BTW, blower motor is the most likely failure.

Not to thread jack but,,,,,
The issue I am having is that the coolant temp does not stay up where it should while I am driving on the interstate. I can start off just below the halfway mark and then 20 minutes later it is barely above the C line. Anyone else have this issue?

^^^^
thermostat could be the problem...

Agreed. tstat is stuck open or opening too soon.

I'd suggest replacement with a new OE thermostat.

I had this problem, most likely the resistor I did a write up over at scoobymods...

Welfound the issue. The douche previous owner drilled a 1/2" hole in the thermostat.

Probably not the resistor since it doesnt come on at all. Resistor is when all the setting dont work except the highest setting. The highest setting bypass the resistor
