Looking for info.... Possibly selling the BK and going SG.

Well, like the title says... I am thinking about selling my '99 Wagon and getting a '04 Forester Turbo... I know... Blasphemy. But the BK is at the sell it for some cash, or drive it till there is nothing left stage. I was thinking about the forester in that year because I can get the Turbo model, and I THINK some of the parts from my BK will work on it as well.

So I was lookin for information on the SG, '03 to '06 Foresters, and specifically the XT(Turbo). A quick look at a local one seemed like most of the suspension (bolt holes that is) are the same as the BK. Mainly I am worried about the suspension stuff. I would like to swap as many parts over as possible. So sway bars, end links, strut towers, and maybe the coilovers.... Thanks for the help... And don't stone me to death! Haha

The Forester is a just a taller version of the Impreza. So that being said.

GC is interchangeable with the SF
GD is interchangeable with the SG

Coilovers can be swapped with no issues... the rear endlinks on the SG is the dog-bone style so ur BK links probably wont work if your using the C-shape. The swaybar should fit but again the BK swaybar has room to clear the sparetire well.. Not sure about clearance plus the width/track of the car is slightly wider then the BK since again its build off the GD chassis.

Thanks Chuck. Good to know, seeing as a lot of the parts I have are for the GD. I will have to do a little thinking, but this might happen. I have been looking for a few months and I think it might be time for a late Christmas present to me. Haha any other info people have would be great. Already started looking.... Sounds like an ECU reflash, and a used STi top mount and turbo andthe fun will really take off. Lol

Lol it is just an option at this point.... We will see what happens. I had no intention of leaving. SL-i all the way. Lol though.... I think I will end up with a quicker fix for now. And the SG will happen in the fall. But I will know more in about 45 minutes. See if I get a raise or not. Haha
