Hey guys wondering if anyone has fit the Tsudo catback onto there legacy. I know that about 2 of the exhaust hangers will be different but I have a welder and will have no issues fixing those...I am more wondering about the overall length and whether it will stick out to far or be to short....if anyone has experience with this catback please comment

In general, the GC exhaust is about 6'' shorter than the legacy exhaust.

what? the STOCK Impreza exhaust is only about 1" shorter than the legacy, because the tip doesnt stick out as far. people run impreza and wrx exhausts on legacys all the time. aftermarket should fit

Yeah that is what I was thinking but I wasn't sure on the aftermarket exhaust....I have a sti axleback and custom midpipe so which has perfect length...I really want the n1 style of exhaust so looking for something that has similar length like the 98-05 tsudo catback

sounds like you know what youre doing, go for it! should fit fine as long as it bolts up correctly with your custom midpipe

Yeah I will prob try it with the midpipe provided first and see how it looks coming out the back....when I get my tax return I think ill pick up this catback fit on my car....ill post up pics on how it fits and what I think of it for other legacy owners

Apparently it's just the turbo exhaust? I've run systems meant for 01- Wrx's on 2 SS's and my 98' LGT and they all had to be stretched 6 inches.

turbo exhausts and NA exhausts have different flange points. thats true for all models. any FULL turbo exhaust (turbo-back) can be run on any chassis but mixing pieces with any NA exhaust will require custom work
note he has a custom midpipe to use a STi axleback on an NA cat section
i have a USDM WRX turbo-back exhuast on a JDM v3 STi engine in a USDM 93 Impreza FWD chassis. fits great!

Yeah this catback is made for the NA cars not the turbo ones....ill bump this tread with details and picks when I install it

any FULL turbo exhaust (turbo-back) can be run on any chassis
I dont' believe that, because I've put WRX 3'' Turbo-back on 3 different legacys and had to stretch all of them...but I digress.

as long as you are maintaining stock engine mounting geometry and turbo location, it WILL hang from the car. dont know if the same applies to 04 and up legacys (first time they did a dual exhaust). i'm also not sure about the hangers on a 00-03 legacy since the rear subframe is different
