So I've had my 98 GT for a little over a year now...

I had plans all the way from the beginning to do an STI swap in the Legacy, but had planned on keeping it as a daily driver. Well, considering some changes in life in the past year, along with coming to my senses that an STI swapped 98 LGt isnt a good idea for a DD, I decided to get a new DD so the 98 can be a project. So, after a long search for a good replacement, here's what I found.

Its an 06 Legacy GT Limited 5MT. Pretty much fully loaded, 78k miles. Totally stock aside from the debadged trunk and the Subaru/Momo shift knob.

Very pleased with the purchase so far. Its very comfortable to drive, has plenty of power for the daily grind. The clutch will take some getting used to (engages very low) but its not bad.

During my time off, I had to address a small annoyance I had with the front end of the car.

dang, every time I see baked and blacked out headlights, it gets me one step closer to actually doing it myself! Looks much better.

Baking the headlights and separating the lenses is no big deal, you just have to study how they come apart prior to baking, because once you bake them, you have to work kind of fast. I've baked 4 separate sets of lenses, and never had a problem.
