SLI member *gatorgt* spotted!

so im driving from my hotel, thursday, in Tilton, NH on my way back to Loudon Speedway for some more sweet track action (heavily modified '34 Ford sedan with a wicked 302 pushing over 600 hp on 104 octane at 12.5:1 CR)...anyway, im driving along and i pass a black BD GT.

not a big deal, i pass legacies all the time up in Maine, mostly theyre all L's though. So, i noticed this GT had yellow tinted foglights...and in that split second our cars passed i realized that was gator! i turned around, but still lost him. at any rate, how often do you pass another SLI member?

That's sweet, NASIOC they spot members all the time. One day we will be big enough to do the same.

Yeah those yellow fogs are a dead give-away for him! Well to get bigger we have to keep recruiting, I'm going to make up a little flyer thing that you can download and print out and carefully place under the windshield wipers of any Legacy's you happen to see in town, if raiding the other forums isn't working to hot maybe its time to hit the streets...only problem is half of the legacy owners I see around my town are old women, so we'll see what happens with that...maybe give Ms. SLi a little support!

Baker - You'll have to PM Fibuz for that, pretty sure he set up the website so he could probably send you that file, I'm still waiting on some possible banners but I have the older SLI logo (looks like the regular STI logo with words underneath), I'll try to dig up the good ones Gator touched up.

Love those spec b's gator. I would get a set if my car wasnt silver. Not feelin the silver car silver rims look ( i cant wait to get rid of mine.....)

Genki -- those aren't the spec b's, those are USDM '05 GT wheels. The JDM spec b's come in gold and almost chrome, and are multi-spoke...I believe one member on here has a set IIRC. I'll try to find a picture. You can pick them up from www.jdmpartstx.com (http://www.jdmpartstx.com) for ~ $1,000.

Ryan the Spec B's also come in Silver. I guy on NASIOC has a set on his GT wagon. I plan on getting a set in the near future.

Yeah like a silver/chromey looking thing. Sorry for the bad description. They look really good though, but I do like those '05 GT wheels...they look so easy to clean unlike the older GT 18-spokes!

Reasons I got these rims:

1) (tie) looks & they fit over Ver4/22B 4pots
2) easy to clean vs the 98 GT rims

Ryan is right, (thanks) they are 05 LGT rims.

Genki, no silver on silver? I think it looks fine. Almost like one big mass rolling down the street. Unless that is, you like contrast from car to wheels.

The only combo I like better: Black car and gold rims. No, I'm not re-finishing these.

Finally figured out where bethany is, we should make a trip up to roxbury one of these days to check out that subbie salvage yard. I'll have to save up some crazy coin for that though to jump at any engines or trannys I see...Its time for something new. Youre gonna come to the meet right?

pwise, yea im comin and i might bring a friend with me. i just sold my other car to him, my first. :cry: its a 1987 Dodge Colt E. the E is for economy, i got like 30 miles to the gallon. wish i could get that with the legacy. oh well, im more happy with the legacy so.....ooh almost forgot, i put my system in my car, il be posting pictures soon. it looks SWEET!
