Who knows for a fact the offset for oem 16 and 17 rims. I always fought it was 55. But se some wheel calculator I see 53 and 50... anyone know for sure??

It depends on which OEM wheel - can you be more specific?

My bad, 16" GT rims "mesh" and the 17" JDM split 5 stars.

The "mesh/snowflake" wheels should be ET53 (based on what was stamped on the inside wheel), and the JDM 17x7 wheels should be ET55 - unless I am mistaking your description of split 5-stars? Do you have a pic?

They look like the wrx split 5 stars... but 17" and a little darker..
