Is the distance between the heads on an EJ25 SOHC with the early manifold (2000-2003ish) and the later manifold with DBW different? I need an engine for a 2002 Legacy and I've got a line on a 2005 Baja engine and I need to see if its going to fit. I'm only concerned about the long block working.
I'm not talking about the U5 engine either, not sure if anything is different about that block & heads but I know everything else is different.
