I've had my 99 legacy L, bd for a little over 5 years now. I picked it up at a bank as a repo for 2600 with 90k on the clock. A maf sensor, and 2 oil leaks (crankshaft seal, valve cover gasket), and a ripped cv boot are the only real issues I've had while adding over 50k to it. I've had the intermittent speedometer issue for quite some time but it doesn't bother me and i have no intention of selling the car. Its got plenty of small dents and bumper scrapes, none from me but i can only imagine the kind of care someone gives a car that gets repo'ed. I use cars as a point a to b, so modifications are non-existent beyond a cd player and a fork antenna as the original and ebay replacement snapped off. And if you're looking for compliments go with the fork antenna, everyone loves it haha. It also came with only 1 stock fog light so I used all my highschool wisdom to put on some walmart specials. I do plan to do a little of the fender rust repair and then give the bottom half of the car a coat of bedliner. I'm also considering upgrading the brakes to the outback 2 pot calipers next time they need replacing.

But here she is in all her weeks of salt, dirt, and snow...

I neglected to mention why I don't spend money on the legacy... Cause i'm too busy pouring any extra money into riding, crashing, riding, and fixing my sport bike. Which is an 04 gsxr 750. Been out of college for a shade over a year so extra money is still hard to come by with the loans and credit card bills I racked up. I bought this one for 5000 2.5 years ago after selling my 01 r6 for 5500, i was pretty pumped about the upgrade + profit.

O wow so where you are from is only 30 mins from me, I live in Menominee. I go through there often cause I play basketball in Oconto Falls every week.
