Ok, who went out during this supposed end-all-be-all of all snowstorms?

Well, that parking lot in front of my window was just asking for it, with all that fresh, unmarked snow...

Driving around the empty streets at 4am...yeah there's not much difference...

:( We've only been snowed on 3x since thanksgiving. Temperature's in the 30s but the weather isn't cooperating.

It's been fun, I wish I had snow tires then the real fun could begin.

Yea I am handling the ice/snow pretty good with all seasons. Today the work back parking lot was empty and layered with ice! ;)

I am SO tired of the snow. Mike, you can come and take some of ours if you'd like. :P

In fact, when I move out to WA, I will bring it with me.

They were weekly starting in the beginning of January, but now they are coming every 2 days. Soon, this will be the case.

oh come on with snow there are way less cars on the road it only takes me 45 min to get to work, i actually feel that my car is finally paying me back for crappy gas milage. Love seeing expressions on peoples faces when their SUV can't get out of the spot i was parked in before them.

PS. Moss is the man do you know if they'll ever revive the series?

I commute from Hicksville, which is Eastern Nassau to Patchogue, everyday. When it snows, the retards that ARE on the road, completely forget how to drive.

As for the IT Crowd, the new season is available for streaming on Netflix, and they have been picked up for a 5th season. 4th season is hilarious so far. They were toying with th idea of bringing it here to the US, with only Richard Ayolade reprising the role of Moss, but that didn't happen due to a management change at NBC. I heard the pilot sucked compared to the original.

Had to pick up something at the grocery store...figures the weatherpeople were all circlejerking over nothing. Like 7" of snow for most areas, the northern burbs didn't even get a foot.

Actually, getting around was easy, the main roads were already plowed. The sidestreets were ok, I guess you'd have trouble if your tires are bald like one guy trying to make it into a parking lot, but nothing too exciting, usual driver-induced sliding when felt necessary  Though it is always funny to just basically roll through everything, including swaths of snow that are higher than the ground clearance of a subaru; I swear I probably smoothed over 3 city blocks worth of unplowed street just by driving by.

It didn't snow here. It's just been about -20 the last couple days. And guess what? I have to walk to class.

It wasn't that bad - the 1.5" of ice sitting on my driveway was more of an issue. But I have a nifty sharpened steel plate welded to a metal pole that slides right under the ice and breaks it up like a can opener. It's pretty cool, a neat item the previous home owner left behind.

When will the folks from Chicago chime in, what with their 20+ inches and all! :D

Probably after they come back inside from driving and playing in all the sweet, white muck I guess ;)

Unless they went to Lake Shore Drive - in that case they'd just be sitting out there freezing next to all the other stuck cars.

mother nature decided to dump another 6 inches of snow in a forecasted "snow shower"...Had to drive 40 miles each way in the slop for an important meeting. GPS thought it would be funny to take me through the most deserted, hilly, and unplowed roads SE Michigan had to get there...wonderful.

Not fun.

Lol, if we had that kind of snow around here, the entire place would literally explode. Seriously, Oregon is full of Oregonians who can't drive, and Californians who REALLY can't drive.

The GPS must know you drive a Subaru. :)
