Good to meet everyone been lurking for a while here, trying to get some ideas for my new legacy, got a sweet little deal last week picked up a 1996 Legacy Outback with 180k and winter edition for 1500$ from a nice old lady that has owned it since day one and has every single maintenance record and a log of every single time she has put a drop of gas in it :shock: .
It's bone stock clean as a new car even has the new car smell! The reason she is selling is because the catalytic converters went out and the Subaru dealership she went to gave her a crazy quote to replace them.
That's my reason for being here I would love to mod it out a bit and have some spare money laying around so looking for some good ideas. I must mention though my knowledge of working on cars and lack of garage to do so puts me in a tough spot, I am a IT technician and now understand when I start talking all geek to people how they feel :smt017 .
