Looking for something cheap, durable, holds up well in the winter and lasts long. Does not necessarily have to be comfortable, but most likely affordable.
Ive read many reviews on these http://www.racelandus.com/p-127-coilove ... d-gen.aspx (http://www.racelandus.com/p-127-coilover-kit-for-subaru-impreza-rs-wrx-sti-2nd-gen.aspx) and people like them, what are your suggestions and thoughts?

You get what you pay for? I'd stay clear of them and get either Stance or BC if you want to spend more than $300 and less than $1k.

durable, holds up well in the winter and lasts long, and then raceland don't go together. Neither do bc/stance/megan whatever.

Yes. But if they have camber plates on the front, you need to swap them side/side.
I have Tein Flex coilovers for a GD Impreza on mine. I swapped out the springs for 7kg/5kg and it improved the ride and handling over the original Flex springs, but they are still quite stiff.

I have Stance coilovers on my supra and I really like them. I recommend them. Look at cost effectiveness; at the end of the day these are race parts and race parts wear out rather quickly. ... BTW if someone has purchased these raceland items they should do a writeup.
I don't know if NEX makes coilovers for the legacy but stay away from those.. read about a guy who had one of his snap while creeping out of a lot.

and yes I actually agree with this guy.. coilovers are not for winter, they are not cheap no matter what, they don't necessarily last very long and if you try your best to make them last you will spend your time mapping out roads with very few bumps, no more pulling into parking lots with steep entrances.. basically anything you do with your daily driver stops as soon as you put them on.
