EJ22 Replacement Engine Mounts. Where?

I am going to be getting a new (to me) long block 97 EJ22. I was looking at possibly having the engine mounts upgraded while the engine was out. Any suggestions or where to even get them?

Done a few google searches and came up with no real luck on where to get some or where to even look.

STI Group N. They work on your car. If you have a 5-speed then you can use the STI group N 5mt tranny mounts as well (Subaru doesn't make them for the auto).

Sadly I do have an auto I will get a Rallitek insert.

+1 on the Group N. They're basically your only realistic option.

They're stiffer - but they do transmit a lot more Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) into the cabin.

To be frank - unless you're planning on doing extensive motor mods, you should just pick up some lightly used WRX or STi engine mounts - they will be perfectly fine and much better than your 14 year old stock mounts. You'll save a bunch too.

Group N engines mounts where one of my.favorite upgrades, highly recommended. I can also get most oem subaru parts now, group N included.

I am sure that is not considered extensive motor mods?

When someone says extensive motor mods I think of a built motor running several hundred horsepower. These would help reduce bucking when you floor it. The alternative to hardened rubber/other material mounts would be solid metal mounts where your motor doesn't move at all.

Get the Group N - your other mods have already contributed more to increased NVH than those motor mounts will.

My stock WRX mounts and STI pitch stop were a night and day improvement over my old stock parts. My stock mounts had gotten super hard with all the use and transmitted a ton of noise into the car. Worse than the solid poly mounts I had on my old Probe.

For an auto, you aren't going to get most of the benefits of stiffer mounts (improved shifting--supposedly) so I'd go with some WRX or STI stock mounts and enjoy not feeling every slight twitch the engine produces.

A 5 speed swap will happen eventually. Hopefully by the summer time. So I might as well do it while it's out.
