I have a friend with a good 92 low mileage transmission who is willing to sell it to me very cheap , I have a 95 Legacy L I want to put it in .

My Car is AWD , has 155k and is currently operating in FWD because I believe the clutchpack went bad in the diff , so I was going to bolt everything up at once,

So will it fit ?

Thanks in advance

Yes, everything will bolt right up. Not sure about the wiring though?

Yeah that's what I need to know is everything plug and play ? Does it need anything to work ?

It's unlikely that it's totally plug and play - you're talking 3 years and a generation model change, so it's likely that there may be a sensor or two that might need fooling. Also, what are the gear ratios, are they the same as your 95 or different? If they are different, this will affect your final drive ratio.

I do not know the gear ratios on either car , that's why I asked this question , I know that it will most likely physically bolt up with little to no problems, but that's about it.

I will search some more and see what I can find . If anyone knows the answer in the mean time I would appreciate if you can post it ,
Thanks
