I have been getting condensation and freezing inside of my projector lense. How can I split this besides putting in an oven? Can I heat gun the edge? Also after it is split apart can I use a headlight cleaning kit inside?
Another thing is I have a socket connector missing off of my drivers turn signal so the previous owner went and put crimp connectors on. Anyone know which wire goes to what pin on a 99 LGT? Picture added. Thanks.

well i recommend just putting the headlight in the oven. i have tried it with a heat gun but it takes much longer to do, but it can be done.

Definable use an oven for the lights, but put them on a piece of cardboard first.

Yea, but is this something that can be done when she is out of the house and leave no smell? Lol. We just bought a house with new appliances. I prob will go the heat gun route, but try not to burn it.

Good idea. Lol. I am guessing out of the three wires with lights on voltage on one, blinker on voltage to that one, but what with the other? A common wire?

I just finished my new JDM's as well, and am trying to reassemble (I added an LED eagle-eye around both projectors). What degree & time do you stick them in the oven for?
And to answer one of the OP's questions for my daily e-cookie; I bought Mothers' headlight repair kit w/ the drill bit buffer-pad (works AWESOME, btw) and you can (and probably should) use it on the inside of the headlight cover. It really does work wonders, but I would recommend having a friend hold the headlight while you do it. That drill I had made things very difficult to do by yourself (or without a vice clamp)

Cool I will do that. Thanks for the information.

250 degrees for 8-10 minutes. pull apart like butter but not hot enough to melt it all down
