TEIN WRX Wagon Height-Adjustable Coilovers from a MY04 WRX wagon. They are non-adjustable as far as ride (stifness ?) goes

I know again these were not made for my car but the price seems very right adn they're next to new.

I believe you need to use your strut tops, but other than that, I'm pretty sure they'll fit fine. Since they were made for a wagon, you shouldn't have a whole lot of extra sag in the rear like you would if you used sedan springs.

Are you sure Perdue? I thought only the 02-03 WRX suspension stuff was compatible with our vehicles?

They should fit fine, I was running a set of DSS40-6USS1 Flex coilovers on my BD, which according to the tein website (http://www.tein.com/subaru.html) will fit:

02-03 WRX sedan
02-03 WRX wagon
04+ WRX sedan
04 STi
04+ WRX wagon

So, in theory the 04+ wagon application should be the same, and those rear tophats will work.

That said, the front will probably sit pretty low. I ran out of adjustment on the flex with a ~1" drop.

I guess since 04 STi struts fit on a 96 outback, then you should be golden...I was just reading up on Nasioc ;)

The 04-05 Impreza uses a different rear strut top/spring perch than the 02-03 Impreza. The Coilovers however, bolt directly into any strut top, and the lower mounts are all the same IIRC. He should be able to take the strut tops off of those, bolt his strut tops onto them, and slide the right into place, no problem.

I believe the difference is not in the body, but in the diameter of the spring and hence the upper spring perch which is part of the stock upper mount.

Because pretty much all coilovers use their own upper spring perch the difference won't affect them.
