I haven't posted in a while, maybe never. My door is rotting away and would like some advise on replacement if necessary. This pic is of the good side a few years ago. I'll be in touch more after I gather my junkyard finds :cool:

Fancy outback..

I had the same problem.. besides paying an arm and leg to get a body shop to fix it for you the next best option is going to a junk yard and buying a new old door.

Process is pretty simple.

1) Remvoe interior plastics around door frame
2) Remove the few bolts that hold it in
3) Remove the pin holding the hing to the frame
4) Disconnect the large electrical connector from the door <-> car frame

The hardest part is finding an outback in good condition but it happens.
