hey i'm kinda sorta new to the subby community, just got a bd GT and its pretty good sometimes i got this problem when the motor will idle low and then shuts off when u start it it sounds like a lawnmower and it throws the CEL the code is p1507 and its for the IACV w.e its spelled i cleaned the one that was there it didnt fix the problem so then, my friend let me have his extra one and the car was good for a day or two and it started again, maybe some1 else here had that problem and could brighten up my thoughts on how to fix it i thought maybe its has some hoses leaking air or the gasket on the throttle body idk anymore but thanks in advance
car has 186k on motor, and thats the only code thats there right now besides the fact that my speedometer isnt workin either but thats a p0500.
so i replace the gasket on the iacv and it kept acting up and i was about to go get a neutral switch and i realized i didnt check the pcv valve thing on the top left of the manifold, my friend took the one of his manifold so i could test it on the car and it stopped shutting off, but then what happened was, the idle was completly off this shit was idling at 100 or 200 and it stalled itself pretty much, so i messed with the TPS a bit and adjusted the iacv, i had my girlfriend watch the tach so i could get the car to idle at 900 i got it there took it for a spin and it was fine not shutting off, drove it home (40 minute drive) and it was fine at one point it idled at 2.500 way too high lol so i shut it off waited a bit and turned it back on and it was fine again, only problem is now the car feels like its spluttering a bit in low rpms, almost like a turbo car with a boost leak, like it resitate and then once i get to 2700 or 3000 rpms its all okay.....plz help idk what that could be, i replaced the spark plugs last week and i replace the coil tonite, i dont think its misfiring but i still gotta do the cables. and its not throwing any codes
