1997 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon
So i just put my coilovers in my bg5...should the rear subframe spacers be removed?
Will this cause my car to sit awkward? What happens if i keep them in?
Before i got them, i removed them and there was no difference at all (With stock Outback Struts in)

The spacers have more to do with keeping the CV axles as straight as possible, than actually lifting the car. More angle = cv's and wheel bearings wear out faster. So it's your choice really.

The spacers are there for cushion. Ride quality.

Read the posts by sybir on suspension for the outback. The spacers are there to correct steering and cv geometry due to the much taller stock struts and springs. When you lower the car the new suspension changes the angles.

Nope, not really. Unless you slam your car to the ground, in which case you'll burn up your tires because of poor contact patch.

^^^
But that can be sorted with camber bolts and adjustable arms.

Sure, but if you're going to do that you should just remove the spacers first, you might not even need camber bolts and adjustable arms.
