Hey guys.. here is my new ride.

Haven't been on here much lately. Got rid of my 97 Legacy GT at 248k. Then got an 04 Forester XT.. insurance ended up being too much, so I downgraded a little bit to this 01 GT.

It's a 5 speed with 160k on it, bf justifiably named it "Miles" and it has kinda stuck :)

I cleaned the sh*t out of my rims today, and I now want to paint these more than ever. I had the grimspeed gold on my 97 Legacy GT, which was in the brighter red color. I'm debating between that and a black or charcoal/gunmetal color on this one. I can't decide what would look good with this color car...

Any thoughts are appreciated

I knew the red one looked familar to me, I had seen it on mysubie before. For wheel color I say a dark gunmetal or darkish gray to go with the darkness of the paint.

wow kinda funny, you have the same exact rally pig/subaru window decal that I do on my 99gt.. cept mine are black

That's what I was kinda leaning towards.. dark car, dark rims to give it that murdered out look. But since these rims have the snowflake pattern with like 700 spokes, I don't want it to look like I'm riding around on black steelies all the time, you know?

Haha, the pigs are everywhere. Subaru banner, not so much. Especially a crooked one like I had. SUB is straight, then ARU went downhill

Painted the rims over the summer, and recently tinted the tails. Also added leather seats, new clutch, rear main seal, hella supertons. Waiting on the Cosmo CAI. Then gonna paint the rims gold in the spring, not thrilled with the way they came out color-wise.

yup, just a couple cans of automotive spray paint from autozone did the trick

thanks.. yeah i could spend hours on my car making it look good. it's such a huge step up from when i first bought her, PO really beat the crap out of it
