So i cant decide what I want to do about my car. The metallic green is kinda growing on me and i know itd look fantastic if it were resprayed, however, ive always wanted to do a satin black with gold wheels(i have WRX wheels), however between the time I thought of this idea, it seems like everyone and there supercar-owning grandpa has gone and done the satin black thing...so i leave it to you guys, respray or go satin? either way ill be doing the work myself(my father owns a shop with a pretty good spray gun/endless supplies of sand paper ect.)

Go with something different. You say you like black so why not try another darker color. Burgandy with gold wheels would look great.

a black with a red or green flake would look good.

I say do your black but throw in some huge gold flakes in the paint/clear. Then some gold wheels... Golden!

Paint has got to be one of the hardest things to decide in my book. I feel like I would need a whole book of paint chips to make a possible decision!

TBH usually im not a fan of green, I think the only reason i like this color is because its metallic, but matty2hotty may be on to something good

I think i found a way to make this thing pretty unique. Im sticking with satin black, except that im going to throw in the gold flakes and use a satin clear coat, which i just found out exists

Personally I'm a sucker for white with gold flakes, ultra glossy, with STi gold bbs
I really like black but its so high maintenance...

is this going to be DD or a driveway queen?
for DD i'd stay away from black its a bitch to keep it clean scratches are very noticeable, etc. i'd go definitely metallic paint and maybe some flake in the clear coat as well to make it sparkle, but as far as color i'd go green or blue. Not a lot of blue 2nd gens around and not too noticeable for cops

This will be my DD, and its parked outside under trees so it has to deal with rain, snow, and bird poo all the time(oddly enough, birds seem to like to poo on green more then white, dark blue, or gold it seems...)
