ok, so i know the whole thing about 3 in exhaust on N/A engines not enough back pressure, loss in power i know i know, but i couldnt resist, i bought one, but is for a wrx, just wondering what all do i have to modify to fit it to the car? just the donut flange?

Add about 6-8" of midpipe, move some hangars, rotate the flange at the beginning of the midpipe to your headers. Think that's it.

Unless you just bought the axleback (muffler section), then it's move a couple of hangars and rotate or reweld a flange that'll fit.

no, full cat back what hangers do i have to reweld, i know the 2 muffler hangers are side ways for that, but any others

Pull your old exhaust and compare. In my sig it shows how to modify a 3" Wrx Borla catback. Also search 3" exhausts I have a thread or two on them.

Also search 3" exhausts I have a thread or two on them. thanks that really helped me, actually i have a flange exactly at the point you cut the exhaust, quick question, did you have to change the donut flange to make it work, or did it bolt straight up to the stock flange?

For mine I just used the flange that was there and put on another donut gasket. Mine has a clamp on the end that holds the flange to the pipe, so I was able to loosen the clamp and spin it to get the right matchup. I know that you have to twist 2 hangers and relocate 2.
