sooo......my bad luck continues...
yesterday I was about to put a tranny in my car, then decided to take the dip stick tube off for the install.. it started backing out nicely..then the bolt (holding the dip stick down to the tranny at the bottom) snapped! and it was still full of fluid (dumb of me not to check..but whatever) so it started spewing out of where the dipstick tube went!! so i tried to use an easy out.. fail. so i drilled it out and was going to re-tap the hole.. fail. so i said fuck it and got a self tapping screw.. it worked! i got the tranny in at about 1am today. went to put my dip stick in the tube, and something wasnt right.. i looked, and the screw wasnt holding it down anymore!! :( so now idk what to do.. jb weld?
i tried that quiksteel putty crap... that didnt work.
i need some ideas asap! i need my car... :(
