You should of rephrased the question... Would the car look better stock color matched, wrapped carbon scoop only(as-is), or entire hood wrapped carbon...

You should paint the mesh black if you must keep OT, and try wrapping the grill in CF to match the scoop.

haha good to know 2 "yes" are supposed to be "no". Im planning on painting the mesh black, just currently the weather doesn't allow for that :/ I'll look into doing the grill once i have more material.

Ben we know you are as gangsta as they come. As for rice, well we can use fast n furious as an example. Something a little more subtle we can say glow shift knobs, stickers or brands not on their car. Cars as slow as mine or slower that have mean exhausts (whoops Im rice lol) mounted hood scoops or roof scoops with no actual hole cut in. I can go on if you like...

I cross my arms and look mean like Vin Diesel whenever I finish typing a reply too :grin: But it's all tongue-in-cheek when it comes to "rice" for me. So, is this rice? Yes. Is my comment meant with the same venom as other people raging about OMGRICE? No. As long as people know the difference between cosmetic vs. functional on stuff they strap onto their cars I'm ok with that.

The only real criticism I have on the OP is that if he's going to go with the CF look on the exterior, at least be consistent about it. CF some other trim pieces or the sideview mirrors or something. A covered cf scoop trim by itself just looks out of place...

Anyway yes it may be a little out of place. That's why I suggested doing the grill and go from there. I think too much of that fake cf will rice the car out.
