high mount brake light

How do I get into the housing to replace the bulb(s)? Do I go into the trunk and loosen up the bolts that are directly below it, or can I pop it off from the inside somehow?

manual says to go through the trunk.

if you are talking about the one in the back window, you can just pop it up, if you look at it there will be a slot to put a flat head sd into to and just twist it.
