I know.. as proud as I am of this place I also know how crappy and boring it is, living here is a bitch also (see: politicians) Theres no point in going to Center City if you live here.. and the only people who go to Geno's for a cheesesteak are tourists anyway.

and to set the record straight: WE HAD A GOOD REASON TO BOO SANTA CLAUSE.. so get off our backs, thank you. :-D

PA is like Subaru central these days! In the central & northern central parts of PA seem like the highest concentration of Subaru owners on the road. Just my opinion.

Mark, where did you go in Philly?

Wiscon_Mark
03-15-2006, 09:21 PM
I stayed with Friends in Phoenixville (NW suburb) and my dad an I checked out all the cool landmarks (Valley Forge especially) and we visited other friends of ours living on the SW side of town. (not a particularly "bad neighborhood", very nice houses.) We also swung by DC on that trip.

roadtrips are fun :D

I'm from the big metropolis of Saltillo PA. Population: 400ish? It's a puny little town in Huntingdon County. So if anybody has been to Lake Raystown, that's almost in my backyard. I also work at Condrin Subaru in Altoona PA. Stop in and say hi!

 That's a damn big fish! I'm not into fishing myself, but my step-dad fishs all of the tourneys over at the lake. Him and his buddy finished 52 of 107 last year. Not bad considering he caught all but one of the fish between him and his partner.

my dad has caught a few stripers out there... we mostly go for largemouth/smallmouth though.
