Security light flashing 3 times... consecutively?

got into my car from class and noticed my security light was flashing, unusually fast and simultaneously... its not arming or disarming my alarm, just keeps flashing, tried disconnecting battery but when I connected back up it started doing it again. anyone know what this is and how to make it stop?

Model, make and year of car? Stock alarm or aftermarket?

also, I just noticed it only flashes 2 times... just looked like 3 in the dark last night. also this isnt when I'm driving, only when the the car is off

Sounds like you're in Valet mode.
Press the red light/button in and it should stop:

huffer-thnx so much, idk what red light/button you were talking about, but I did follow the key faab instructions on that link you gave me and its all better, wonder how it got to valet mode in the first place haha
