From turbo to kinda slow, my new Legacy!

What's up guys, I'm pretty new to the Legacy scene but been around Subaru's for a while now. A few weeks ago I sold my 2003 Stage 2 WRX in the hopes of picking up something a bit more reliable, and better on gas. That's when I saw her. A beautiful 1998 Legacy GT Limited. Honestly, I can't say it was love at first site but it was a good looking car and I knew it would grow on me. In the few short weeks I've had it I've fallen in love with every inch of it.

@httrd~ Nope most of it was already done. So far I've swapped wheels, took a few things off the last owner had, put in the OEM Radio w/Jazzy Aux and OEM Sub, cleaned up the headlights, and did some paint correction.

Haha yup it's Wes' old car. We met up in Knoxville for the sale and even though he went through with it he looked really, really sad to see it go.

The main reason I bought a car already modded was to avoid the constant need to do something to it. My WRX was bone stock when I bought it and I spent 6 months and over 6k on it and I just can't go down that road again (my wife will shit bricks).

For the time being I'm looking into SS Brake lines, Rallitek RSB Kit, and possibly an ALK but in the future watch out for a WRX swap. I've been doing TONS of reading and I'd really like to do the swap myself. Only real hurdle right now is funds, and space both of which I hope to fix over the next year or so.

Sucks that 90% of the pics are gone now. This is one of my favorite legacys on here, cant wait to see where you take it!

I wish I knew why he took them all down... The day after I got the car I went to the FS thread on Nasioc to get some before pictures and they were all gone :(

I sure do, he came down to Knoxville to check out the car the day I picked it up. He should be rockin the light bar and 4 hella FF's I took off my Legacy soon :D

I wish I could be more help but I bought the car as it sits pretty much. I will say the ride is VERY nice considering the stiffer bushings, springs and shocks.
