Yes, I know there are TONS of threads floating around that tell you what lips fit what car and so forth. What I'm looking for is more specific. The options for BD lips are few and very far between, and most require some sort of modification to get to fit just right.

Discuss:

What you think is the best lip for BD and why.

The Greddy lip is obviously the best, if you can find one though. Fitment is perfect too.

For something more common, just go with the DIY lip, do a good job and make it look right.

I actually have the Greddy lip sitting in my storage. Only issue is it's currently being held together by zip ties...

I was actually thinking about it the other day, I've got a friend who's pretty tits at body work and I bet he could patch it up and repaint it. Too bad I'm stupid broke right now :(

yeah thats the lip on cajual's car. I couldnt remember if it was made for our car, or for another car but fit ours.

I'd like to see it from the front and see if it's the same one I have.

I was brainstorming last night and I think I might try and fix mine. The only major issue I see are the holes in it, any suggestions?

that definitely sucks. and i dont believe they sell them any more right? hopefully you can plastic weld it or something.

yeah, thats what i thought. After going back and doing some more research i figured it out! There's a "post your lip" thread but most of the pic links are broke.

Just stumbled on this thread. I'll post a pic of mine shortly.

On that note, I do not recommend this lip. I have a modest drop on my car, and this thing rubs on everything. I even raised my car a little. Someone really interested, let me know and I'll probably sell you mine.

I've considered having it modified and chopped so it doesn't extend as far out. I'm used to not having to avoid obstacles, but even mildly inclines I have to approach from an angle with this lip.

Yeap, that's a Greddy lip on my car... the lip is not a perfect fit as it's really designed for the JDM bumper, not the USDM GT bumper; so a little massaging needed to be done to get it on. As Ken said, the lip is really low and rubs on everything. Mine is in 3 pieces after I hit a dead skunk on a road. I'm rockin' a DIY lip now.

ANNNNDDD, it's busted.

I never did take many pictures with it on. Stupid thing. Mine is in three pieces now too. I threw it in my garage in disgust.

94- 97 Accord Trust/Greddy Lip


Type R Integra Lip

And a host of DIY lips are out there. Plastic welding opens up a whole new ball game, as you can cut the top off of 1 bumper and weld on the lower of another. Time consuming and perfection with measuring is a must if you choose to go this route. Good Luck.
