makes me sick to my stomach, she was a beauty. still running like a champ, but now its a pile of parts.. parting out the motor. after i ship several parts, it wont be runnable.


this car survived 40 years, and ran like a clock....

its all over because some fucker was reaching for a bag of chips..or something.

That is a sexy Benz. The SLs were the only ones, aside from the Hammers, that I liked.

Sorry to hear about the douche that hit you. I hope he/she rots in eternal hell when they are forced to drive a Geo Metro or Yugo.

Sad to see that poor SL. I will agree, my favorite Benz ever.

I could be biased though. My grandmother has the last year of these, an 89 560 SL she bought brand new back in 88.
The car still runs great, but unfortunately she isn't well enough to drive it anymore, and someone left the window down in the car in the garage over the winter and the interior is FULL of black mold. What a shame.
