I am thinking of picking up a wrecked Wrx sedan fom 02-07. What all will swap into my LGT? I am thinking dash, 5-speed swap (with rear end), scoop, dont care for the blue seats (unless they are the grey ones), wheels, dont want the engine (already have better), sways, and brakes.

What else can I swap in? Will I run into any problems with any of the things listed. Just looking to redoing my car a little and make it much nicer.

Almost all of it should swap very easily. The WRX calipers are the same as the LGTs, save the 4 pots, but the rotors are bigger. The sways many not fit though. The dash has been done, but there is normally gaps between it and the rest of the interior. The tranny wouldn't be much of an upgrade over the stock LGT 5 speeds, but IIRC, you are still running an autotragic. The gearing is different as well, but it might be what you are looking for with the 02-05s having a 3.90 FD and the 06-07 having the 3.70 FD.

Here's a list I got off of Nazioc:

Suspension, hubs, brakes, front seats, shift knob & transmission but you will need a driveshaft.
Swaybar won't fit unless you hammer the spare wheel flat-ter.
Wheels obviously
Steering wheel
Dash is a nightmare, and only useful if you are running the engine and ECU.

Thats about it. You could try fitting the center console (shifter surround) in there to get a couple of cup holders.

Ok thanks guys. I think I know what you mean about the dash not working without the ecu. Could I splice the wires to make the gauges and other dash functions work?

You could, but the dash fitment is incredibly tough to get to look "right". You've got different actuators for HVAC, you might have to extend wiring for center console switches, airbags...nightmare without even looking at the gaps that the new dash will leave by the doors and windshield.

You'd be better off trying to get the dash cluster itself to sit in your stock dashboard.

Alright let me talk to a local guy who rebuilds subies. He has a wrx dash in his 98 lgt wagon. Looks great if you ask me.

I will have to get pics up.

Ok I have been talking on other forums as well and I figured out that I am just going to buy everything seperate. Seems that the Wrx dash does not fit well and work as well as I would like (like you said Huffer), 5mt conversion is good, but better off just buying and building a tranny, better off with buying Brembos, Still going to cut the Wrx scoop into a L hood and sell off my LGT hood, Update the gauges (again Huffer said), and more for the apperance look. Thanks guys.

Ya. The 06-07 is nice and edgy. I think the 02-03 has the right curves to fit the BDs body lines.

The 04-05 is too aggressive with the amount of overhang it has.

I would swap the trans and rear, just for the taller gearing. It would suit the H6 beautifully, IMHO.
