Tail Lights

So I am looking to get new tail lights. A buddy of mine can give me these http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSiPvisIk6_YLakkrIgZ9kbQFeWGKCnnwCLem823xAJ7APahZUS for a great price. I really hate the chrome so It'll probably get blacked out except for the lights themselves.

but JDM tails are pretty pricey.

I would tend to agree with csweston, save your pennies. The blacked out look just alright with the blue, but I can't picture it looking too well with silver.

Well my friend owed me money so I ended up with the tail lights from him anyway. No idea if they'll actually get installed or not

sell em and get some JDM tails, definetly the cleanest option, especially on silver.

You should check the prices for the EDM version aswell. Might be cheaper since it not "JDM". Tough the lights are the same.

JDM, or don't do anything at all. Ugly aftermarket/tinted tail-lights are of the things I hate in this world, especially on Subarus.

Im putting the aftermarket ones from my friend on, tinting them, throwing on a fart can and calling it a day.

In all seriousness I'll probably throw them on ebay and either get jdm tails or something else.

You could also try using vinyl to red out your amber section. I've seen people do that with some success. Low cost & reversable.

Otherwise go JDM/EDM.

I think I might go that route with mine. Do you know where I could get some vinyl that would work for that?
