door handle

the door handle rod that opens the door from the outside has come off. the clip was broke got a new one now i cant my hands in their to put the rod back in. whats the trick for this?

i have the door panel off but the window track is in the way.

can you get some needle nose pliers in there?
Otherwise get someone with smaller hands or you might have to remove the window track if all else fails.

Can you raise/lower the window to make it work? If it is the vertical track, you will need to remove it.
