Speedometer stopped working and P1507 code.

Driving home from school I noticed that my speedometer was stuck at zero. Then 10 mins later check engine light came on a so I barely made it to a autopart store to get it scan and it came up with a p1507. Any suggestions what to fix. Idle air control about a 400 dollar fix, I notice a neutral switch or something, and what to go about the speedometer. Is it my speed senor on the transmission? If anyone has any suggestion or experience the same problem let me know. It is frustrating that it happen all in a span of 15 mins!!!!!! :smt021

i think this is in the wrong section, but a MOD can move it for ya. I'd start with a speed sensor on the tranns. A friend of mine spend tons of hours thinking it was sensors on the intake manifold to find out it was only his speed sensor. Go to a junk yard and get one for cheap to test, also watch out the car might shut off on you when you come to a stop. Just a heads up

Thanks alot for your input. I have been reading all the forums and I have starting to think that it is the speed sensor or my cluster myself.
