Considering a turbo and inter-cooler upgrade to a front mount.

Would you keep the custom hood scoop hood? Or trade it for a more stealthy normal hood?

I'm torn on this one. :smt017

Keep the scoop it looks better. Plus it will lower under the hood temps more.

If you could. But you can't, so I'm saying go baller with an L hood, and reverse cowl it.

I've really slacked on taking pictures lately, but here is a good shot.

Is that scoop just bolted on? Or is is bondo'd or whatever on there?

Another fellow had a JDM 03 STI hoodscoop molded onto the Legacy hood. So it is fixed/molded from a body shop. He wrecked his car in rally cross and sold this hood to me.

So if you go FMIC and stealth hood, your current hood would be baller for someone else... :D

I'm going with the cheap bastard option; use whatever you already have on the stupid thing. :smt023

It's kinda evo-like, but I really like it!

I'd sell it (probably for a considerable sum of money if it is molded in well) and swap for a lower profile stock hood w/scoop. A large hood scoop is actually kind of counter productive if its not feeding an intercooler.
