i would recommend keeping an eye on your spare tire especially if it is the original. i finally ended up biting the bullet and went and got a full sized spare because my doughnut spare the the Outback is all dry rotted and scraped, the scraped part is from a previous owner. luckily i did not get a flat because i would be afraid to use the old spare. also a full sized spare of 205-70-15 will fit under the rear cargo area with a flat floor. i have to take out the tray thing under the floor.
