I have a "race/test pipe" that was installed for a year.
went back to stock cats, but I kept it!?!?!

Was it just too loud for you? Ive thought about going this route but my car is already pretty loud.

too loud for my wife and son, yes

header, cat-less, delete resonator, and magnaflo muffler
plus it was terrible gas milage.

Why would having a less restrictive systems cause bad gas mileage?
Not sure if this is the reason or not but my theory's are that if the exhaust can exit the cylinder easier there is more room for air/fuel. Or if there is alot of valve overlap some of the intake gases may enter the chamber and get siphoned straight out the exhaust port.

aah okay, I just wanted to see everyone's take on it cuz I love the drifter bosozoku style of exhaust so I kinda want to do it to my leggy

running no cats or mufflers at the moment besides a stock twin tip rear muffler.

should be running no rear muffler for a little at the end of the month...

How is yawls car when it comes to exhaust smell with out the cat? I have cats and at times i still smell exhaust, only when i start the car though. and how do yawl get it inspected
