Cluster Needles (swapping from one Subaru model to another)

Does anyone know if the needles from a 02 WRX cluster (the yellow ones) will fit and work on a Legacy cluster?

I know they wont light up and I am fine with that.

Only one way to find out. But I'm sure they will work. I swapped my gauge needles in my car. It's just the right combination of parts. But if you try to swap just the needles be aware it can be a pain to line them up again. I had to put the needles on whither the car running.

To be honest it would probably be easier to get a pin out and wire the whole gauge cluster in.
