Tips for installing Leg GT spoiler on Outback?

Hey guys, I did my routine junkyard run to see if there was anything interesting and I just happened to find a gorgeous '98 Legacy GT wagon. I have yet to figure out why its there because it came in running and driving with only a little damage to the drivers side door and fender, and it was completely rust free!

But thats beside the point, I grabbed the spoiler off of the hatch since I've been looking for one forever and I only paid $20. Now I have to mount it on my Outback wagon, that didn't come with any spoiler and I'm not sure how to go about it. If I was mounting it on a flat trunk it would be as easy as setting it on the truck and marking where the bolts would go through, but this is a little more tricky since the hatch is curved and everything has to be fairly exact to fit properly.

Does anybody have any tips for doing this, or any ideas? I'd hate to do this wrong and mess up my hatch.

Aircraft or marine adhesive. Seriously, that's all you need.

Hmm, thats interesting, I didnt even think of that, I figured I'd have to drill holes. Where would I be able to get something like that?

^^ Believe me, I tried, but they don't sell whole cars there. I've tried in the past too when they had an '80s TURBO GL sedan with high/low 4x4, also in great shape except for severely faded paint.

If your using adhesive make sure you clean the surface or it may fall off while your going down the road.

This is my old GF back in NZ - the top wing (aka WRX) was an Aerotech fiberglass one that was sprayed and installed using just adhesive. It was installed in 2002, and I sold the car last year and it was still extremely solid. The car saw 95F temps down to as low as freezing (I went snowboarding a bit).

I also got one for twenty bucks and need to cut the screw studs off it . I want to find that adhesive that someone mentioned. I Love parts yards !
