considering this set up and a few DIY modifications for my new DD.

UAS Bags over Megan struts
With a staggard set 18x8.5 +25 18x9 +20
Rolled Fenders front/Rolled and pulled Rears
Modified twin bar headlights with retrofitted projectors
Hyper Hello HID fog lights
Modified Kouki front bumper

Thanks...i was also probably gona go with a 18x9 +25 all around on 225/40 or 215/40

what other ideas did you have in mind for a mock up.

Basically a 2000 2.5 RS Coupe, entire car pained matte blue with the exception of the hood, side skirts, spoiler and trunk. Those would all be a glossy blue. Slightly lowered on some gold wheels :grin:

don't want a hood scoop nor do I need one. If anything it needs to be a reverse vented hood. otherwise the factory style OEM hood will do fine.

the chop looks nice but making it a reality will be difficult, with bags you cant drive it like that it will have to be raised and spoil the look, some serious rolling and pulling will be needed not just in the back, to put projectors in the corners you will need to cut more holes in the fender/front frame to accommodate one and then make a weather sealed enclosure around the projectors. chop looks great but you will have way more problems making it a reality than you think.

Im tired of riding static, my 98 240sx and 92 sc300 DDs ran static and it was more difficult to run a lower setting because i had to plan out my driving route to avoid dips/bumps/pothole. Bags/Cups will insure that i can drop to the ground and be raised when i need it. Modifying the chassy to fit my needs including pulling fenders are something i do regularly. And I'm accustomed to hacking up metal, but thanks for the concern.

What im more concerned about is the projector retrofit, particularly the alignment of the beem. Well see how it turns out when im finished remodeling the headlights on Cad.

forgive me if i don't know whatever term you guys use around here for that end model bumper, but kouki is a term iv been familiar with and use appropriately. Now I don't know if you were being an asshole or not with that remark. But theres nothing wrong with being familiar with the Japanese culture and want to be apart of it. If you want to mock being "JDMtyte" I suggest you spend some time in japan before you say anything futher. But im not going to hold it against you if you don't since being "USDMtyte" is so obviously better.

And its still confusing? Maybe I think I'm wrong and there are discrepancies among the interchange of the years which is why its confusing to use terms like that. No worries, it was just a joke. The whole setup isn't my cup of tea (to be frank, it looks like another derivative of the whole "herraflush/slammed" crowd of cars out there), BUT I'm not going to discourage you from trying to undertake it...it's going to be a fair deal of work to make it happen.

really? hmmm ill try with those two colors.. I just figured a dark wheel colors like gunmetal or black wouldn't give enough contrast to a silver car. Thanks :)

imo black looks legit on any car, gunmetal would look awesome with that paint. I had a 98 GSR and i powder coated my twisties gun metal and OMFG, it was amazing how it changed the apperance of the car. try it out, you never know, you might like it. Gold rims are awesome but draw way to much negative attention from the police and other cars that dont respect wagons.
