I bought some STI springs and after a bit more research I found that they work on the 04 WRX struts but can be a little odd feeling. Sometimes too bouncy because the strut can't support the strength of the STI spring. Something along those lines.

What are some struts that can support the STI Spring? Other then the 04 STI strut I was looking at maybe KYB GR2's for the WRX.

+1 for GR-2s. I have them mated with H&R sports and I love them.

The only thing that struts do is keep the car from bouncing. Any strut will accomplish this but the stiffer the strut the less it bounces and the harder the ride. It is all in what feel you want and how much you can spend. Softer struts will let the suspension move more and harder struts will keep it more stiff. GR2's are slightly stiffer than stock.

Do you know how they are compared to STi struts? I am going to just probably run the STI springs on the 04 WRX struts I currently have.
