Thanks for the add! I am from Enfield, CT & I present 'Isis', a 1998 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited, & she's very clean on the outside except for a dent under the driver's side door. I spent 8 hours cleaning the interior & detailing it. It was an extremely difficult & rare find. It's an automatic with leather seats & sunroof. I'm almost sure it's fully loaded. The car has 160K miles on it. I plan to work on her little by little. First thing that needs attention is the engine. The EJ25D has a knocking that occurs at start-up & around 3K rpm or highway speed. I'm pretty sure it's the rod bearings as the engine doesn't constantly rap as it would if it had piston slap. After I throw a replacement engine in there, rebuild the one that comes out, & then I can talk about modification. I'll learn from you all & hopefully be a part of the forum :)

Welcome to SLi.

Thats a clean example of what a BD Legacy should look like.

Lots of engine options / combinations to be had also Japanese engine replacements are affordable and only 60,000 km of abuse.

Take a look around and grab a copy of your Factory Service Manual from the Literature and Manual section on the board.

Cheers
-Chuck

Thanks for the welcome :D
I owned a green 'L' before this & modded that one up (nothing special; just some suspension additions, lightweight pulleys, & poly mounts) but even so, this car feels like it's in a totally different class. I like the fact that Subarus have so much interchangeability with each other (especially the 90's models!)
