ECU compatibility

I'm considering a link plus ECU and they offer OEM ecu "replacements" that fit inside the oem case and use the existing wireing and plugs

they have a model for "Impreza WRX & STI (MY93 – MY96) + RS Legacy" I wonder how differnet my ecu connections are to that of the RS legacy...

any thoughts, If this is possible this means an easy after maket ECU solution

Send link some pics of the current ecu and the main harness plugs, plus a pinout and they should get you some recommendations.

on that note, anyone have a picture of the MY97 2.2L ecu?
I have a pin out from the FSM

If I seen this earlier I could have provided pics of a 98 2.2L ECU.
