More problems with the GT. The rear baffle plate is leaking, and the 3 year old water pump is shitting the bed. I think it's time for a new car.

Are you talking about the rear seal?

Water pump is easy to replace - I thought you were doing seals and pumps with the timing belt change?

The timing belt was done. The water pump is 3 years old. The rear main seal is NOT bad, but will be replaced. It's the rear baffle that needs to be replace. It's only plastic and the new one is aluminum.

might as well get a 5spd and drap it in while its apart.. heh.

Really though if you sell out what are you looking into getting? Brand new LGT?? :-D :-D

Shane, you should look at the New LGT man....OTD @ 27k ain't bad for a performance sedan with that level of quality.

Just do yourself a favor...whatever you get, get a Manual. You don't want your pimp car to be an auto ;) You can buy a beater auto to drive to work :D

I am REALLY surprised you didn't do the oil pump (?) and the water pump when the timing belt was done.

I didn't do the water pump because it was only 3 years old. If I get a new car, I'm not get an auto tranny. Two cars that I would consider is a new LGT or STi (hence the title sell out  )

Just hock it. That's what I'm doing. Too many problems and not exactly the platform that I was hoping it would be.
